Coach of the year
Must be a member of coaches association
- It is a straight vote of the coaches, there is not any voting criteria
- It can be the best coach, or the most liked coach
Spirit of Max
Voted on by a panel. The panel selection is arbitrary
All state tournament team
There is a formula, which includes all the flight winners, and several players from flight 1.
- There is not a good method for this, as very seldom would a flight 6 player defeat anyone in flight 1.
- But there has to be some recognition for winning a flight
Team Sportsmanship Award
Each team gets one vote, and the officials get one vote. There is not any criteria for how a team votes.
